Signs of the times - Mark 13:4

Mar 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

 We are incredibly privileged to know what the future holds for us and this world as we find in the Bible. What other book do you know tells the future and then what it tells come to pass? This is a great book to get into. Don’t miss out on what the Bible has to say about our future. 

 In our passage today the Lord Jesus tells the disciples the future of the temple at Jerusalem, that it would be totally destroyed. The Romans did this in AD70 years after the Lord said it would. It is amazing to see the words of the Lord coming to pass.

The Lord also gave details of other future events many which we see happening today. Wars and rumours of war, nation rising against nation and a lot of these events happening in the Middle East where many Bible prophecies will happen. Surely there has never been a time when so many signs of the times are so evident to see. 

So what does that mean for me you say?  Well these are all signs of the 2^nd coming to the earth of the Lord Jesus and the Bible tells us that before that event the Lord will come for all those who know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour 1Thes 4:16-17. Are you saved and ready for that event? Or will you be left behind. Perhaps you are saved but not living how you should. The Lord is coming the signs are clear to see. Get ready today, ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved’ or if you are but not living as you should confess your sins to Him and walk closely with Him each day, reading and praying and looking forward to His coming! May be today?
